What is The Pet Program?
The Pet Program is designed for everyday pet owners to get their dog's training started off on the right paw.
What Do I need To Do To Sign Up?
To participate in the Pet Program, you will need to:
All classes will be held at the CSDA facility with a professional trainer who will assist you in training your dog using positive reinforcements methods. Classes are held in a Visalia, California in a group setting with other dogs and their handlers. After each session handlers will be given homework to practice on throughout the week.
- Complete an application
- Submit your dog's vaccination record
- Pay the program fee of $150
- Read and sign Pet Program agreement and expectations

Beginner Course
Next Class: August 4th 5:15 P.M. to 6:15 P.M. (Registration For This Class is Closed)
In the beginner 6 weeks course, you will learn about the fundamentals of dog training and basic cues.

It's time to up the ante! In the intermediate course handlers and their dogs will prep for the Canine Good Citizen test and on the final day of class will have the option to take the test with our certified trainers!

Time for your dog to shine in advanced training! Advanced training is inspired and constructed similarly how a dog would test to be a therapy dog. (Advanced course does not certify your dog to be a therapy dog after completion.)
Handlers and their dogs will train in real life scenarios, including plenty of distractions and new items! They will be tested on all the skills they have learned throughout the courses and really put them to the test. |

CSDA will NOT accept the following into the Pet Program
Children are NOT permitted to come to class unless written permission is given by trainer
Completion of this program does NOT designate the handler as a certified trainer. This program does NOT certify your dog as a service dog and this is NOT service dog training.This program is NOT endorsed or approved by ADI.

- Wolf/Dog or Coytote/Dog Hybrids
- Pregnant Dogs
- Dogs in Heat
- Behavior Aggressive Dogs
- Dogs that are ill
- Dogs with disabilities (Unless written consent from a veterinarian)
