How to Volunteer!
Our Volunteer Program is expanding! If you are interested in any of our volunteer opportunities, here’s how to get started:
Step 1
Complete Volunteer Registration Form online
Step 2
You will be added to our automated distribution lists and newsletter, which will update you on upcoming opportunities, events and news.
Step 3
Volunteers accepted into our Recruit Raising Program will be required to go through our Online Recruit Raiser Course BEFORE getting a dog to raise. Access to this course will be granted on a case-by-case basis.
Step 4
Volunteers must attend our Volunteer Orientation Day scheduled the second Tuesday of every month 5pm-6pm at our facility (may be subject to change).
18701 Lort Drive, Visalia, CA 93292
You will receive a confirmation that we have received your application and upcoming dates for our orientation. The orientation will include a 1 hour presentation. This is a requirement for all volunteers. If you are not local, CSDA can discuss possible virtual alternative for you. Once your orientation is confirmed you should receive an invitation to our orientation!
We would not be where we are now without the support of our volunteers! You are instrumental to CSDA, thank you!
